I think you just have to prioritize what you learn and when, just like you have to with every other character, and what you typically have to do with an elemental mage in general. I'm only level 28, but I don't really feel like she is a mess. I don’t think it’s actually possible to learn all her spells now.
Side note, Angela feels like a huge mess in the remake. When I got my first class change Duran was a long way from learning any useful spells. I will say it is probably a good idea to hold on to some points if you overshoot 38, unless you already know which points you need and where for your desired end results. Which I have to say is good because I’m about 10 levels higher than I normally am at this stage of the story. So there’s less risk of potential loss if you can’t do the second class change right at 38. In the remake training points function very differently and you can reset them if you change your mind later.
In the original when you changed class all of your stats were brought up to the caps for the prior class, which essentially made the choices largely unnecessary beyond quality of life until true final class change.īut because there was no way to reset points if you were higher than 38 when you did the final class change it basically turned into lost stat points that you couldn’t recover.
